We had the privilege of participating in the U.S. Delegation Visit from the University of Oklahoma, where we presented an elevator pitch to Heather Johnston and engaged in a meaningful discussion followed by valuable feedback.
As part of the showcase, our team presented SoterCare directly to the visiting delegation, outlining the problem we are solving in healthcare accessibility, the technology behind our solution, and the impact we hope to create. The session was followed by a focused discussion in which the delegation shared feedback drawn from their experience with entrepreneurship programmes, perspective that was both practical and encouraging.
For us, the most valuable part of the visit was not the pitch itself but the conversation that followed. Hearing how practitioners and educators at the University of Oklahoma think about early stage ventures gave us a clearer lens through which to reflect on our own assumptions, our go-to-market thinking, and what it truly means to build something that scales with purpose.
